Trent and I have been busy with work, but no news there. Thankfully, we enjoy our jobs, and we're extremely grateful to have careers that are fulfilling and stable.
Serving on the Jaycees board has also occupied a lot of time over the past several months. We have made the decision to not serve on next year's board, but stay on as members. It's been a very rewarding experience being board members, but the time has come for us to pass on the torch to new members.
There have been new developments in the lives of our friends...
Renee and Josh are expecting their first baby, a boy named Ian Joshua, in November. We're so thrilled for them! Talk about a couple destined to be parents and you can't help but conjure up images of Renee and Josh. I attended a baby shower for her in Florence last week, and she looks beautiful! They've had a busy couple of weeks having just moved to Seattle and then boarding a plane for South Carolina two days later. It was SO good to see Renee! Trent and I are planning to visit them in Washington in the spring. Can't wait to meet Ian!

Our friends, Lauren and Adam, are also expecting their first baby next March. We're super excited for them, too! Lauren and I work together at the Red Cross, and she and Adam bought a house in our neighborhood last year so it's great to have them close by.
In exciting Muldrow news, we recently went to Beaufort to see Emily and Patrick. We always have a fun time hanging out with them, and Beaufort is such a relaxing town.

Last weekend, we went to see Coldplay in Charlotte with several people Trent works with. This is our second Coldplay show, and while it wasn't quite as good as the first, it was still incredible.
Hope all of you are doing well. It's hard to believe the summer is winding down. I still can't wrap my head around how quickly time passes these days.
Looking forward to the season premiere of Mad Men tonight. Woo-Hoo!
Ciao!
Jamie & Trent
