No, I haven't died or even fallen off the face of the planet. As most of you know by now, I was recently laid off. It was a very amicable situation, but nonetheless, I am currently unemployed. A few years ago, something of this magnitude would have probably sent me over the edge, but alas I've grown up a lot.
The past two weeks have been filled with updating my resume, applying and interviewing for jobs, and really trying to do some self-evaluation to figure out exactly what I want to do and what I have to offer. I'm not going to deny that it's been a daunting task, but it's also exciting to be given this opportunity-which is how I prefer to look at it. It's so easy to fall into the habits of life. To take things for granted.
