We're currently 6.5 months along, and we have good news! I found out yesterday that I passed my glucose tolerance test, which means I do not have gestational diabetes.
We ended up not having an ultrasound this week, so we have to wait until our 28-week visit to see Claire. Speaking of Claire, she has been so active lately. She's become quite the Kung Fu fighter these days, especially around 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.
In other news, we're still on track for closing on both houses later this month. We're planning to start packing this weekend. We're both so excited about the move, but we've made some great memories in our current house, and I think when the moment comes to leave, it's going to be a little sad.
Here's my 26-week update:
How Far along? 26 weeks (6.5 months); We only have approximately 3 months to go!
Size of the Baby? According to thebump.com, Claire is about the size of a head of lettuce.
Maternity Clothes? Absolutely!
Gender? Sweet little baby girl :)
Movement? Lots and lots of movement
Sleep? I've been sleeping well lately. My nightly bathroom trips and intense leg cramps have decreased.
Cravings? No new cravings lately
Symptoms? I've been experiencing Braxton Hicks contractions over the past few weeks.
What I miss? I still miss sleeping on my back.
Milestones? I started my prenatal yoga class last Saturday, which was wonderful! Trent and I have our next ultrasound in two weeks.
What I’m excited about? Our 28-week ultrasound. It's the extended 4D scan.
Your baby at 26 weeks (from thebump.com):
Baby's soaking up your antibodies, getting her immune system ready for life outside the womb. Eyes are forming, and she'll soon be practicing the blink...perfect for batting those freshly grown lashes.
